ISM’s Katie Miranda created this “Postcard from Palestine” to highlight the story of Yusef, a 10-year-old boy who was violently attacked and his teeth forcibly crushed by a colonial Israeli settler woman in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood of al-Khalil (Hebron). Sundus al-Azza speaks more about her brother’s experience here. As the postcard notes, Yusuf’s attacker was never prosecuted or penalized, a common occurrence  in cases of rampant settler violence. Meanwhile, there are over 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, including nearly 200 children and 500 people jailed without charge or trial under “administrative detention.”
