Barbara Lee: Speaking Truth To Power,” with Rep. Lee in attendance, will screen this evening at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland (3200 Grand Avenue and Lake Park Avenue).
In response to her increasingly poor record on Palestine (she sponsored a bill, just passed by the House, that gives the Israelis $3.3 billion+ in 2022), a small ad hoc group put together a leaflet – see the PDF below – that aims to educate the 600 ticket holders about her record on this issue and to encourage them to press her to speak and act in support of justice for the Palestinians. It’s respectful of her good works but firm in calling her out on this issue.
